Our accessibility goal
Atlas aims to make medical and biomedical information usable across different devices, input methods and visual needs. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing product requirement rather than a one-time certification.
Design and navigation
The interface is designed around readable typography, sufficient spacing, keyboard-accessible controls, descriptive headings and responsive layouts. Images should use meaningful alternative text when they convey information.
Content clarity
Writers and editors should explain technical concepts clearly, define specialist terms when useful and avoid unnecessary complexity. Plain language should not distort scientific meaning.
Report an accessibility problem
If a page, form, control or document is difficult to access, please use the Atlas contact page and describe the problem, device and browser when possible.
