How readers can report concerns and how Atlas handles factual corrections, clarifications and substantive updates.
Reporting a concern
Readers may report a factual error, unclear statement, broken source, outdated guidance or other content concern through the Atlas contact page. Please identify the article and the specific passage so the issue can be reviewed efficiently.
How corrections are handled
Editors assess whether the issue is factual, contextual, typographical, sourcing-related or the result of changed evidence. Material factual errors should be corrected promptly after verification. Minor style or grammar changes may be made without a formal correction notice.
Substantive updates
When an article is materially revised because evidence or guidance has changed, Atlas updates the visible modification date. Dates should reflect meaningful editorial work rather than artificial freshness.
Transparency
Where a correction materially changes the reader’s understanding, diagnosis-related context, treatment-related context, safety information or the interpretation of evidence, editors should preserve an appropriate record in the internal revision history and may add a public clarification when useful.
